We the Parti Marijuana Party will always offer choices

Memberships to the Party are available in 2-ways
First: the Standard Elections Canada form and
if you have no intention of giving us a form: use this one

NOW an all new Elections Canada form [approved in 2007]
This new form was won by the fine work of our party leader Blair Longley. It recognizes that you can remain anonimous, and
still be a member of our party, like union memberships are.

He fought for this new form because our electoral base really is the
disenfranchised people of this country, and most are legitimately afraid to
leave their John Hancock on a published list of registered member of our party.

As prescribed by law, we need 250 of these forms to keep our party status alive. This basic requirement we have met.
- Any number over this is nice but not manditory

As I see it:
ANYONE IS A MEMBER AS LONG AS THEY CAN PROVE
TO HOLD AN ORIGINAL ELECTIONS CANADA FORM
and as 'prescribed by law'
- we cannot be ordered to prove that we have a copy

As far as we are concerned: If you claim to be a member of
our party then you are a member.
You prove this by carrying this Elections Canada form on you

but like any political party we could use donations

[by check payable to: the Marijuana Party]
with your Election Canada Form, you have a receipt to confirm when you became a member, which could be an issue in court
- and just like every other party THEY ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE

- If you don't want to choose this route, then to legally protect your confirmation date of being a member THEN you should
get this CLUB MEMBERSHIP on you at all times

IN LAW: without a bonafied witness or check to the Party, you really have no proof to the date you signed this DECLARATION to be a member, and with either a check stub or a witness that the courts recognize as authorized, you can prove to be a member, before being charged. If you have a copy of your membership at the time of being stopped means there is no need to prove you here not a card carrying member at the time
